The Education Circle is a high level contemporary form of patronage that directly supports our literary arts education program while offering supporters the opportunity for in-depth engagement with writers, artists, others who share an interest in crafting culturally responsive approaches in the classroom.

The Education Circle is a special group of patrons that directly supports the Givens Foundation’s culturally responsive literary arts education program by contributing annually to a fund benefiting artist-led literary workshops in schools, book distribution, and teacher training for the school year. A modern form of patronage, the fund allows the Givens Foundation to present educators and artists with the tools, training and opportunities to use literature by Black writers as a vehicle for cultivating literary minds.
